Kumbaya anyone? This seems like a lovely Los Angeles aerial view to share at the end of summer. We love working for noble non-profit organizations and the Natural Resources Defense Council or NRDC is one of the best. The environmental group asked us to capture legendary surfer Laird Hamilton as he lead their Peace Paddle a few years ago.
It was a bit trickier than it might look. Our Los Angeles aerial photographer and helicopter had to leave at just the right moment to be over the Paradise Cove adjacent location as the peace sign was complete, but not too soon as its flight time was limited both by the fuel it carried and cost. The weather was somewhat hit and miss too. While there were moments of sun in Malibu and along the way, occasional rain showers were encountered while en route to the lovely seaside location.
